Privacy policy

Data collected

Account: name, email, phone. Verification (KYC): ID document and selfie. Company (KYB): RCCM and supporting documents. Activity: messages, applications, reviews, comments and reactions, contact-detail views (logged). Bug reports: message, page, optional email and screenshot.

Purposes

Providing the directory and connecting members, verifying identities to fight spam and scams (including fake job offers), securing access to sensitive data, measuring audience and improving the service.

Legal basis

Performance of the service (account, messaging, applications), legitimate interest (security, fraud prevention, audience measurement), consent (personalised ads, communications) — in accordance with Cameroonian personal data protection law.

Access to sensitive data

Company NIU, RCCM, email, phone and contacts are only shown to verified accounts; each view is logged and capped. Bug-report screenshots are stored outside the public website and are only visible to our team.

Audience measurement

We measure visits on our own servers, without third-party trackers: pages viewed, origin (search engine, social network…), device type, time zone and time spent. No IP address is stored: a visitor is identified by a fingerprint that changes every day. Bots and administrators are excluded. Raw data is deleted after 400 days.

Retention

Verification documents are kept as long as needed for the check, then archived with restricted access. Deleting an account erases its personal data, subject to legal obligations.

Your rights

Access, rectification, erasure, objection: write to legal@lefisk-hub.cm. A company can claim, correct or request the removal of its listing.

Cookies

The site uses a session cookie required for it to work, local storage for your preferences (theme) and a cookie that remembers your advertising choice. No third-party advertising trackers.

Personalised advertising

Only if you agree: a random identifier (lf_vid cookie) links an interest profile kept on our servers (sectors, cities, kinds of pages viewed, time spent, listings viewed for retargeting). No sensitive data is inferred and nothing is shared with third parties. The profile is deleted after 90 days without a visit, or at any time from the Ad preferences page. Without consent, ads only depend on the page being shown.
